Flying into the private air strip at the 1850 altitude for which the resort is named, immerses you immediately in the exclusive Alpine landscape. From Geneva Airport it is a three hour drive to the hotel on easy roads with some stunning views.

Here the undulating white scenery dotted with snow laden fir trees is just spectacular, and this will be your view and your playground for the length of your stay.

Day 1

Breakfast overlooking the pristine Courchevel slopes, which have been meticulously groomed the night before.

Head to our Ski Room where professionals will ensure all equipment is in first class condition, warm your boots and show you the door leading straight onto the slopes. Small children will find the ski in/ski out facility the ideal way to find their ski legs in a reassuringly easy environment. Instructors are on hand for group or private tuition.

You are skiing in the Three Valleys, one of the largest ski areas in the world. Choose your Courchevel slope which along with neighbouring La Tania’s, are classified as 19% green, 31% blue, 40% red and 10% black.

Non skiers make a more leisurely start, seeking relaxation in the pool and Spa, with a little light shopping in the hotel’s colonnade.

Some kids have been having a wild time in the greatest Kids Club in Courchevel, now the guide is taking them off to explore snowflake formations with their new friends.

Lunch on the slopes at Le Cap Horn altitude restaurant to taste seafood at 2,000 metres. They also have a wine list to boast about.

Snuggle up beneath furs, on your dog sled. At the sound of "mush" you will be wooshing through the snowy paths, the breeze on your cheeks, for an exhilarating Alpine tour.

Settle down by the open fire in deeply comfortable velvet chairs at Le Bar de L’Apogée, and enjoy a creamy hot chocolate.

End the day’s snow activities with a thrilling toboggan run from Courchevel 1850 to Village 1550, a two kilometre track descending a sharp 300 metres.

Reserve the Bania Suite for couples at Le Spa de L’Apogée. Relax together in a heated cabin, plunge into an icy pool then enjoy the massage. A therapeutic experience that is both soothing and invigorating.

Dine at Le Comptoir de L’Apogée in relaxed style with French gastronomy and local Savoie specialities or choose the Koori menu, this Japanese cuisine is in a class of its own in Courchevel. The sommelier will be delighted to pair your menu choices with wine, sake or one of the rare Japanese teas.

For a mellow end to the day visit the Cigar Lounge, along with the rare and fine cigars connoisseurs will discover some prestigious vintages.

Boots are warmed, ready for you to explore some of the legendary slopes such as Combe de la Saulire, Courchevel's star Red run unfurls over three kilometres, or the Black run, La Jean Blanc, which hosted the 1966 World Cup, the first time that the average slope speed exceeded 100 kph.

Some children might decide to stay at home, particularly as the Kids Club is the greatest in Courchevel. Today at Mini VIP 1850 they’re learning magic tricks and making chocolate.

Non skiers are joining a snowshoe expedition, stepping off the beaten track to explore the silent forest and catch a glimpse of a chamois or sleek fox.

Lunch on the slopes at La Folie Douce, stay on for the afternoon if you fancy something a bit wilder, this is the place to party in ski pants.

Try out the kickers and rails at the Courchevel Park freestyle facilities.

Step into Le Spa de L’Apogée for some Sisley Phyto-Aromatic Treatments. Slip into the serene pool, soothe limbs with heat and hydrotherapy or book a physio to relieve strains.

Dinner at Le Comptoir de L’Apogée, try White Albe truffles, Brittany lobster or Bresse chicken while listening the low rhythmic sounds by our resident DJ.

Finish the evening with sophistication, a cocktail at Le Bar de L’Apogée. By night it becomes the coolest hot spot in Courchevel!

Day 3

It’s an early start for the rigours of Le Grand Couloir, the only official Courchevel slope with off piste status, this is the greatest challenge in easy reach of our hotel, ride up on the right side of the Saulire cable car.

A gentler way to enjoy the snow is cross country skiing, which gives you time to enjoy the scents and sounds of the Alps.

Take the complimentary shuttle for a glimpse at some of the other four villages that make up the Courchevel area. Courchevel Moriond at 1650 metres is charming.

Lunch on the sunny terrace at Le Pilatus next to the Courchevel private airstrip, or cosy up in its typical Alpine style restaurant.

Taking off from Courchevel’s private airstrip enjoy a final scenic tour with a pilot specialised in mountain flying. See the slopes you skied, the pretty woodlands, the glamorous lunch spots, a last glimpse of L’Apogée Courchevel, and then head for home promising to return next season.
